Engagement Pictures, Part 2

As much as I love our original engagement photos, we wanted to do some in the spring/summer so we didn't have to be so limited with our location. We shot these at a GORGEOUS local park, right after my hair and makeup trial, and I am in love with how they turned out! We wanted to keep them casual and "us" and I think our photographer captured that perfectly!

Makeup Trial

I can't believe we are 50 days away! I have so much left to do, but I can't believe how much we already have checked off our "to-do" list! Budget tip: schedule your hair/makeup trial as the same day you plan on doing engagement pictures, you will feel gorgeous in front of the camera!

Eat, Drink, & Be Married

I am  so thankful that my favorite tea company, Steepers, will be providing tea for our wedding! In order to save money, we are providing our own linens and table settings. (Isn't it crazy that it is cheaper to buy than rent?!) I am all about the small details, and so for our coffee/tea bar, I just finished up stamping 200 cups! The grand total of this project was $15.98...

What You Need...
hot beverage paper cups (Costco, $9.99)
permanent ink pad
stamp (Michaels, $5.99)

Thank You's

I wanted to get my bridesmaids something special for the day of the wedding, but unfortunately I couldn't find anything in my budget. So I did what I almost always do and made my own! I made each of the girls a personalized bracelet that matches their dress. The grand total of this project (including packaging ) was $28.17 or $4.70 each...

What You Need...

beaded stretch bracelets (Mihaels, $2.49 each)
needle nose pliers
charms (Michaels, $4.98)
twine (Michaels, $1.99)
permanent ink pad
small gift boxes (Michaels, $0.79 each)
"thank you" stamp (Michaels, $1.50)

A Mood Board - Hair

As many of my friends know, I can't stand my long hair. But, when Marc and I first began talking about getting married, I found myself daydreaming of walking towards him in the perfect vintage white dress, a short veil, and long curly hair. And so, it is for that reason alone that I have not cut my hair. But believe me, these long locks are going to get donated not long after we say "I do!"

75 Days!

I can't believe how fast time is flying by! I feel like we have so much left to do! But I can't believe how much we have done! I am only slightly obsessed with our sports bow ties. 2 have arrived so far, and they are adorable!
